Jim Irvin has been involved in pop music and arts journalism since his teens and has become one of Britain’s leading music commentators. He was the founding features editor of MOJO and continues to write regularly for the magazine. He writes on music DVDs for The Word, and has also written regularly for The Guardian, The Sunday Times, The Times, Time Out, Rolling Stone and many other publications. A selection of his work is reproduced here.


He has also broadcast extensively on TV and radio on the subject of music and the arts.


He edited the first edition of The MOJO Collection (Canongate)
